Lost 22.2kgs and 23.44% body weight
I have always struggled with my weight and like most people have tried many different plans, some successful and some not. When menopause hit, I felt like this is how I am going to be, it was very difficult to lose weight. A friend had amazing results after joining Healthies and inspired me to give it a go. It was time to do something for me and lose those unwanted kilos and feel better about myself.
I had my son’s wedding coming up and an overseas holiday to look forward to. When I joined up and was told that you can get to your goal weight by then, I must say I was a little sceptical. But it was easy, and in my first month, I lost seven kilos and was already feeling great. I did think that I would miss some foods that I used to enjoy, but I did not crave anything, and I was never hungry. It is so helpful to plan for the week and write down what you are eating and drinking, and to make sure you have your protein shakes and water.
I am now at my goal weight, feel great and am more active. My fitness has improved, and I have added the classes at Healthies to my fitness routine and enjoy dancing and Pilates. I feel a lot lighter on my feet and my knees are thanking me for losing those kilos. I am also more confident now and actually enjoy shopping – with no more hiding in dark, baggy clothes.
The Healthies coaches and members are so encouraging and supportive and it is so welcoming when you walk into the centre, and I recommend it to everyone. It is never too late, and it is so easy to lose those unwanted kilos with such a great proven nutrition plan and support.
