Ingredients
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1 cup Shaken Jamaican Choc-orange protein powder
- 10 dried dates
- pinch salt
- zest one orange
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 cup shredded coconut
- 1/3 cup water
Method
- Combine Food process almond meal and Shaken Jamaican powder.
- Add dates and blend until well chopped.
- Add salt, zest, cinnamon, turmeric and coconut and pulse.
- Add water gradually while blending. The mixture should roll into balls without being sticky, so add more water or add coconut or almond meal to ensure the consistency is right.
- Roll into 18 balls and refrigerate until ready to eat.
