Lost 3.9 kilos and 4.7% of her body weight in the 12 Week Beat the Winter Blues challenge

I really wanted to challenge myself to, as I call it “get off the couch”. I was not too eager to join in on the classes as I thought, “No way I can’t do that, I’m not that fit”. I decided (with much encouragement from my gym buddy) to give it a go and I haven’t looked back. I just love fat burner on a Saturday morning and the ladies we do it with are so much fun. Now can you believe I look forward to coming in and joining in on the classes?

The amount of encouragement I got from the coaches to keep going and keep focus during the 12 weeks was fantastic.

I not only have lost weight I now have also gone down a dress size and bra size. Wow I know, I am gob smacked about that. I am sleeping better as I have never been a good sleeper. I am a lot fitter. I can walk now without complaint that I can’t do it. I have a much healthier approach to my weekends away – I went away 3 times and still managed to complete the challenge.

I could not have done it without the coaching from Lisa. She was amazing with her approach to my weekly and sometimes daily struggles. The week-to-week challenges kept me on track and gave a different focus each week that I found very helpful.

  1. Don’t delay, do it for yourself.
  2. Get a gym buddy to help with accountability. That helped me no end.
  3. Just join in the fun, you never know where it will take you.
