Lost 7kg and 23cm – That’s 12.34% of her body weight

I’d never really done much exercise before. I tried a gym a while ago but it didn’t suit me as I didn’t know what to do on the machines and the classes were too hard. 

I knew I had to change something when my sister and friends told me I needed to lose weight. I was carrying the weight all around the tummy and bottom and my clothes didn’t fit anymore. Then someone asked me if I was pregnant – it was awful, I was so embarrassed. I had completely lost my confidence so I decided to try Healthy Inspirations. 

My goal was to be a size 8 for my Nursing Graduation Ceremony in April.  I’m a vegetarian so I knew it was going to be difficult but I was given lots of options on the Great Shape plan. I use lots of spices to add flavour.  Also I always thought I couldn’t give up my biscuits with a cup of tea but I did. I swapped the sugar for sweeteners and the biscuits for the Healthy Inspirations protein cookies. I don’t crave sweets like I used to. It was hard in the beginning but I enjoy it now.

I really enjoy the classes and the circuit and I have so much more energy now and my stress levels are lower. I feel so much more confident and everyone can see the difference. My brother is surprised as he didn’t think it would last longer than 4 weeks.  I keep getting asked, ‘How did you lose the weight?’ and I tell them all about Healthy Inspirations and how easy it’s been. The staff are great, very encouraging and they always give me different vegetarian options.

On Mother’s Day my 12 year old son said to me, ‘You look good in that, Mum. Dad needs to go to the same place as you.’ I was so happy. Healthy Inspirations has given me my confidence back.
