Lost 26.3kgs and 24.08% or her body weight

I had previously been a Healthy Inspirations member in Lismore, northern NSW for a few years, and had great success with the program. We had a horrible flood event in 2017 that wiped out the centre, and sadly it did not re-open. After that I was not exercising at all, and the increasing needs of my special needs daughter meant that I had no time for me. I also then started having mobility issues, and after a long wait, had a hip replacement at the age of forty-nine. My recovery took quite some time, but I got there in the end. After my surgery, our daughter moved in to supported independent living, so I then had more time for me. I started cycling on a local rail trail that had opened, and love loading up my e-bike and going for a ride with or without my husband.

Even with the exercise I was finding I was not shifting the weight that I had gained. I was not sleeping well, and I had chronic heartburn. I googled Healthy Inspirations and found there was a remote option available. It had worked before, so I knew I could make it work again. I signed up with Coach Nola, and from there started having my weekly phone calls with Coaches Nola and Tiffany, who I happily shared my success with each week. 

I am a creature of habit, so will meal plan my breakfast, snacks, and lunches for the week. I am out the door early in the morning and not usually home until after 5.30pm, so being organised is the key. I have a breakfast frittata I make every weekend that gets me through the week, and out the door quickly in the morning as it is easy. I pack my lunch the night before and prepare my snacks in advance too (I love the Vanilla Proti powder, and the chocolate fudge protein bars available at Healthies).

I cannot thank the Healthies coaches enough for the support and encouragement they have given me, as I now feel like a different, more positive, and confident person. I am proud of what I have achieved and have so much more energy and am challenging myself to try new activities and am wanting to be more social with friends and getting out and about. I really am living my life with more meaning and purpose.
