Lost 10 kilos and 21 cm

I went to an EA conference and listened to a speaker talk about fatigue and giving everything to your job and not looking after yourself. She lived and breathed work and ended up with fatigue and in bed for 3 months. I wasn’t in that kind of danger, but I did realise that I was working through all my breaks, eating at my desk, and not moving around much, so I phoned Napier Healthy Inspirations from my Auckland hotel room and booked a consultation.

I have been going for 5 months now and lost 10 kg so far. It’s right across the road from work so I can’t avoid it, I can do it in my lunch break which I love. Best of all, I am donating my kidney and going to Healthy Inspirations has brought my weight and BMI down low enough that I am within the range required to donate.

It’s easy, it doesn’t take much time and the staff and other ladies that attend are really supportive.

I look better, feel better, and have more energy.

Tips

  1. Prepare your food in advance so you don’t make bad choices.

  2. Make sure you have your gym gear handy all the time – I have a spare set at work so no excuses.

  3. Set realistic goals.
