Lost 9 kilos and 7.9% of her body weight in the 12 Week Beat the Winter Blues challenge

7 years ago, I was in two major motor vehicle accidents that significantly impacted my life and the weight started to sneak up. I then started 3 years of IVF where the weight again started to gain. We have an amazing daughter who is now two and our miracle son who is one.

I realised that the past needs to stay in the past and my weight that I was dragging into today was holding me back from being the mother my children now need. I started this challenge to heal the past and improve my future for myself and my family.

In the past I have tried countless weight loss approaches. They have always been long term and BIG goals. I would do well but then become overwhelmed and stop before I really started. The 12 week challenge allowed me to break it down and take it one step at a time without becoming down and ending up quitting.

I’ve noticed a real increase in my mood and ability to handle busy days with the kids. I feel great eating the new diet plan.

I’ve really loved the support I have from the Blackwood team especially when I’m having a difficult week, to keep me on track.
