Lost 15kg and 69cm.

On my first visit to HI, I didn’t feel pressured to make a commitment that I couldn’t keep. Instead the consultant explained to me how the healthy eating plan and exercise worked and helped me set realistic and attainable goals.

At first I found it difficult to be motivated. It takes me 40 minutes to get to HI. But as time went on and I began to see the fruits of my labour, I started to think of the drive as the journey to a better version of myself. My whole mindset had shifted and I was able to focus on meeting my goals.

The eating plan was fantastic. I followed it and the weight really did start falling off. I’ve had a lot of emotional challenges and I’ve found that going to the gym and taking that time for myself has really helped me. The girls at HI have been great, listening to me and keeping me focused on the food intake and exercise plan. It’s made the other stuff in my life easier to deal with because I have my priorities clear, and I don’t stress on the things I can’t control anymore.

Working 12 hour shifts, driving 40 mins to the gym and having 2 very active teenagers means that time is a rare commodity for me. I really found the chocolate protein bars helped keep me on track as it was so easy to throw them in my bag and have a quality snack with me at all times.

My husband and 2 sons are so proud of the journey I have taken and I’m happy because it’s made us a stronger family. We are going to Bali on a family holiday and I’m going to wear a bikini to the beach; this time last year I would never have had the confidence to say that.
