Lost 12.7 kilos and 14.6% of her body weight in the 12 Week Beat the Winter Blues challenge

I joined the 12 week challenge as I was feeling unhappy with my weight and fitness level after stacking on the weight over the last 3 years. I was feeling every day of my 61 years and felt I needed to really take account of my health.

I had struggled to lose weight by myself with very limited success. I had been a member of Healthie’s a few years ago and knew the program worked. After receiving an email about the 12 week challenge, I thought this was exactly what I needed. A set goal of known duration.

When I had my initial consult and measurements, I noted my blood pressure was quite high (disturbingly so). After losing weight it’s back within the normal range without needing medication. I had stopped jogging due to knee injuries and as the weight crept on it became even more difficult. I now feel so much better within myself, my knees feel better, even to the point of jogging again. I have more energy and feel more able to cope with the stresses of work and life in general. THANKYOU.

I know I definitely need the accountability the weekly coaching provides. Ally and Katie were so supportive and encouraging. Ally would get so excited with my achievements that I couldn’t help to get enthused and motivated to continue.
