Ingredients

  • 4 pork steaks
  • 2 Tbsp ground flaxseeds
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • ½ cup ground pecans

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Combine the flaxseeds, salt and paprika on a plate.
  3. Whisk the egg and soy sauce in a bowl.
  4. Place the ground pecans on another plate.
  5. Dip each steak into the flaxseed mixture, then the egg and coat with the pecans.
  6. Place on an oven tray and cook 8-10 mins on each side.
  7. Serve with steamed greens and/or salad.
