Reset – suits all phases
1.25kg steak, cut into 2 cm cubes
1 Tbsp chili powder
½ tsp crushed red pepper
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp ground black pepper
½ cup sliced leeks
2 cups canned whole tomatoes, with juice
1 cup chicken or beef stock
Shredded cheddar cheese
Avocado, sliced or cubed
Chopped fresh coriander
Place all ingredients, except for the toppings, into a slow cooker. Stir, cover, and set the slow cooker to high. Cook for about 6 hours, or until the steak is tender.
Use a fork to shred some of the steak cubes and break up any tomatoes that remain intact.
Serve the chili hot in bowls with any desired toppings.
