This versatile salsa can be used as a dip or sauce, warm or cold, and with any protein or vegetable source.
1 medium onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 (440g) can peeled tomatoes, drained
1 tsp cumin powder
1/2 tsp marjoram
1 tsp chilli powder
- Put onion and garlic in a food processor and chop well. Add the drained tomatoes and process again until evenly combined.
- Transfer to a saucepan and add seasonings. Heat the mixture until boiling and then simmer for 5 minutes on low heat.
- Serve hot or cold as a dip or sauce.
