You Do You - Healthy Inspirations

You Do You

There’s a saying that’s gaining popularity. It’s associated with the growing movement of women avoiding comparison with others, and avoiding the judgements so often applied when the behaviour or choices of someone else are different to your own. The saying? “You do you”.

The strength of “You do you” is in the understanding that what’s right for one person is not necessarily right for another, and that’s OK. Different choices are made for different reasons, each being valid to the person making the choice.

“You do you” can be applied to all manner of areas: religion, employment choices, child rearing, fashion, body art, and even diet.

Have you ever seen a friend having success with a weight loss strategy, and then given it a go yourself? Were you disappointed with your results? Why did it work for her and not for you?

We see this all the time through working with women in weight and wellness. What works for one woman won’t always work for the next, even if they’re sisters. Each body has a different genetic code, hormones, microbiome, thought processes, likes and dislikes, and emotional history.

Each body may need a slightly – or vastly – different nutrition plan.

Do you know what works for you?

If you can answer Yes, Congratulations. You’re right where you want to be with your weight and your health.

If you answer No, maybe we can help you work it out.

Our ICT Reset program is designed to help each woman discover the eating plan that works best for her body. Our bodies all respond differently to foods and drinks, amounts, meal timing, sleep, stress, exercise…

There truly is no one-size-fits-all. This is where “You do you” is important.

Find out what works for your body and mind, and then do it. It doesn’t matter if it’s different to what another person needs to do, or what they believe, or what they say about what you’re doing.

“You do you”, and love your results.
